The Collegiate Shag
A sampling of this high energy, vivacious dance that was all the rage in the 1930s. Today with it’s speed, style and fast footwork, its a favorite to see performed on the swing dance circuits. And the basic footwork & patterns are easy to learn. We’ll cover Footwork & Partnering techniques, passes, traveling, facing & side by side positions, double kicks, break aways & more.
