Since there is rarely too much space on the dance floor, learn the art of compact styling and how to redirect your favorite moves in a pinch. Learn to avoid dance traffic by playing with a variety of swing out angles on different slots, use strategic pauses in different places in your swing out or circle to simply hold your ground vs running over a fellow Lindy Hopper. Even lead some solo jazz moves to dance your way to another, less crowded place on the floor.
