The INTREPID Big Band Dance

Prohibition Productions and the INTREPID SEA, AIR & SPACE MUSEUM present an epic battle of the big bands and swing dance on the flight deck of the historic aircraft carrier Intrepid!
This one-night-only special event will take place during Fleet Week New York 2016 and celebrates the music, dancing, and style of the Swing Era by featuring NYC’s best big bands… plus a vintage fashion show and contest, swing DJs, photo booth w/1940s style pinup girls, dance contest, a free beginner swing dance lesson, and so much more!
Look out for performances by our dance teams the Rhythm Stompers.
Daytime Showcases between 3pm – 5pm on the Flight Deck and The Pier
Evening Showcases at 9pm and Midnight
